The Malibu Pier At Night

The Pacific Coast Hwy Estate is proud to announce the latest region addition Malibu Surfrider. The region is located to the west of the main sim if flying and or north west if following the hwy. The region is themed from the world famous real life Surfrider beach at Malibu California. The break boasts 3 synchronized Pipeline Beta waves and two SSI fluffies.

Pacific Coast Hwy Prim Oil Gas Station

Heading up PCH you will find the Prim Oil Gas Station. A stop to get fuel or load up on munchies before hitting the waves at Rincon. Unlike La Conchita theres no threat of landslide so feel free to have a look. Bikers and car enthuisists rez their vehicles here to feel the freedom of the open road. No helmet laws here, leather up and feel the wind in your hair. Pull on thos drivers gloves grab your honey for a romantic spin. Just look out for dead mans curve!

The Rock Store on Pacific Coast Hwy

The Rock Store, located on PCH across from the town of Santa Rosita, is a low key hangout for the bikers, surfers, locals and vistors of the Pacific Coast Hwy.

The Rock Store features:

Classic rock music
Couples and Single Dance Machines
Free Pool Table
Mechanical Bull Ride
Observation Deck with spectacular views of the coast

Chill Out With Your Friends At Happy Hour

Every Saturday and Sunday from 5-7p.m. SLT there is a happy hour with a live DJ. The happy hour is a great place to just chill with your friends while soaking up some great music. You will never be spammed to join the group or vote for the best in purple wings.

Who Rides Better; Bikers or Surfers?

At the close of each happy hour $L200 is awarded to the highest Mechanical Bull Ride of the evening. The winner will be asked, “Biker or Surfer?” a running tally is kept on the wall above the bull”

Welcome DJ Capri

The Rock Store is proud to introduce Capri Juliesse, the new Rock Store DJ. Capri loves the coast, surfing and rock and roll. Not only does Capri have an awesome stream lined up, she is also a member of the tribute band “The Heartbreakers” as in Pat Benatar, however, this band covers most of the rock girls of the 80’s including Joan Jett, Blondie and Heart.

Capri will officially open our first Happy Hour this Saturday from 5 until 7 PM. To celebrate we will be awarding $L200 each to the top 3 bull rides of the night.

Pacific Coast Hwy’s own REVY rips SURF JAM XIII

Saturday 11/21/09 Looking sexy in her red contest jersey Revy was nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof waiting for heat 6. Facing some of the best surfers in second life Revy surfed the 3 wave per rider heat finishing 1st in heat with an astounding score of 17.500. Revy scored the highest Prelim score in Surf Jam XIII! The win pushed her into the Semi Finals with the creme de le creme of seasoned contest riders.

After her Prelim heat Revlon said “i was trying to ride like i do in RL but mostly i was just trying not to make a fool of myself. i’m so nervous i just want to go home”. In her semi Final heat Revy faced tricky conditions surfed well made a respectable showing. The final round carried on without her as Abel Haldeman gave the crowd a lesson in sl surfing winning SJ XIII.

Three cheers and ((BIG HUGGS)) to Revlon for doing herself, DA HUI and Pacific Coast Hwy proud with her first go!

A new sim has been added on pch! “Rincon” is located east of the coastal town of Santa Rosita. The highlight of the sim is Leogarto Burts Teahuppo II. An awsome tube view awaits the rider plus the wave travels down the line latterally. Rincon also features beach homes for rent and the new Santa Rosita Mall which has stores Real Cheap Sports and Submit Tatoo. There are a few stores open for rent. Check it out!

Pacific Coast Highway SURF FESTIVAL 2009

Surf Festival 2009

The ground was shaking on PCH 1 Nov 1st. It was at least 8.0 on the richter scale. It wasnt an earthquake but SL Def Leppard rocking Festival goers. The festival opened with a smashing good wipeout session with Followingwaves, Mick and Bodhi thrown in for good measure.

Leogarto Burt gave a facinating informative speach highlighting his contribution to second life surfing with his numerious products in cluding his latest wave Teahoopu II. Rezzing the various waves above the stage the Teahoopu II took the crowds breath away with is folding tube.

VW Sands spoke next. His speach began respectfully requesting a moment of silence for our fallen brother “Cippy” Cipriano Grut. VW spoke of the future and reigniting the stoke and soul, getting back to our roots and having fun. The crowd howled in agreement.

The surfboard art decorating contest prizes were determined by popular vote the winners were:

1st place, Shark Attack – Angelle Aluveau 33 votes 1000L$
2nd place, Old Surfergirl – Aldo Courtois 31 votes 500L$
3rd place, Gia Cola – Gia Melody 24 votes 250L$

After five plus hours of riding surfboards and waves designed by the big 3 ACTION, HP and SURF SYSTEMS INC. not to mention the ground shaking dancing and partying the event came to a close. PCH is open and rocking free horses, surfboard and scooters for use. See you on the Pacific Coast Highway!
