The first ever Progressive Hazard Surfing Competition held in Second Life. The Open qualifying round is open board; Action HP and SSI boards are allowed. The heats are 6 minutes timed with 2 surfers in the water making set timing is critical.
The second round is the invitational round. For this round only boards with wipeout enabled scripts are allowed. These rounds are Surfer vs. Surfer timed heats of 8 minutes until the final 4 surfers remain. During this round any collision with another surfer or boneyard rocks as well has a pearling of your board will cause a wipeout.
In the finals the seed pairings will be #1 vs. #3 and #2 vs. #4 with the winners in the final and the then a battle for 3rd on the Podium. It is during the finals that the last hazard is added. The type and nature of this hazard will not be released to the public until the night of the event.

The new Pacific Coast Hwy region has all the look and feel of visiting the California coast. Even with it’s awe inspiring beauty, the sim is one mean surfing location. In the bay there is an epic level Action Surf & Skate wave that breaks into a wipeout enabled bone yard. If this alone was not enough to get your adrenalin pumping there are cross currents from the creek mouth driving directly into the rock pile.
Further up the winding highway is a massive HP 200 meter Sunset wave. If you have never seen this wave the site is worth the teleport. This wave is such a monster it requires an entire sim! More Info
